IIC was instituted in the college in the academic year 2021-2022 as per the instructions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India. The members were nominated as per the guidelines of MoE’s Innovation cell (MIC). The college strives to foster an entrepreneurial culture among students through diverse clubs and on-campus programs. Since its inception, CCET IIC has made a strong presence in the college by conducting activities from the IIC calendar along with several self-driven initiatives. The council has representatives from all the departments of the college and under their leadership the various departments conduct innovation and entrepreneurial activities based on the nature and need of the department. All the departments in association with IIC conduct seminars, Workshops, Quizzes, Motivational talks, student exhibitions and competitions to nurture entrepreneurial skills in students. The institute has registered in the Impact Lecture Scheme of IIC and has given consent to be a mentee in the Mentor-Mentee Scheme of IIC. The college IIC has also submitted the interest in ‘DICE’ in the AY 2024-25. The IIC of the institute is working hand in hand with the various departments and IEDC of the college for the betterment of its innovation and entrepreneurial climate
