Facilities

1 . Engineering Physics Lab

The Engineering Physics Lab assists students in connecting theoretical physics with real-world engineering applications. It allows them to test basic concepts like optics, semiconductors, mechanics, and electromagnetism. By conducting practical experiments, students enhance their measurement abilities, evaluate data, and grasp error estimation. This laboratory enhances their capacity to utilize physical principles for practical engineering challenges and promotes scientific reasoning and accuracy.
Equipment List
# Equipment Name
1.1 Diode Characteristics Analyzer
1.2 Diffraction grating to calculate the wavelength of LASER
1.3 Photodiode characteristics apparatus
1.4 Paper Thickness determination using Air wedge

2 . Engineering Chemistry Lab

The Engineering Chemistry Laboratory plays a vital role in helping students understand the fundamental concepts of chemistry through practical experiments. It bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications in engineering. In this lab, students perform experiments related to water quality analysis, corrosion studies, electrochemistry, polymer preparation, and fuel characterization. These experiments help them develop analytical skills, understand material properties, and gain hands-on experience with modern laboratory instruments. The laboratory also emphasizes accurate measurement, data interpretation, and safety practices, nurturing a scientific attitude and problem-solving approach among students. By the end of the course, students are equipped to apply chemical principles in various engineering fields such as materials science, environmental engineering, and nanotechnology.
