A CMI EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION
At Carmel College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), we believe that academic learning and sports complement each other in shaping a student’s overall personality. While education refines the intellect and nurtures academic excellence, sports develop confidence, leadership, discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Together, they foster the harmonious development of body, mind, and soul- the true essence of holistic education.
The Department of Physical Education plays a vital role in achieving this vision by promoting fitness, wellness, and sporting excellence among students. Through structured physical training, games, and athletic programs, the department encourages every student to maintain an active lifestyle and a positive attitude toward health and teamwork.
To promote participation and healthy competition, the department organizes numerous intracollegiate and recreational sports events throughout the academic year. These events help students build leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and team coordination.
